It's the spin off of SAO II but better and compacted. Sao II Arc is more about Sinon and less of Kirito but ayy its a fun watch interesting as it is neither SAO or SAO II even combined can top SAO GGO Alternative. ![]() Although there was subtle references to the original SAO but unless you're a completist like me who desires to watch everything without leaving anything behind then go ahead and watch SAO then SAO II. I could even say you don't even need to watch the first season you could just get by with seeing just SAO II and understand after the first two episodes. SAO II is just the extension of SAO but with guns. SAO II on the other hand very enjoyable more guns less sword except kirito of course. Never the less I kept watching although shocked with "it's anime" physics. None of it makes sense how Kirito was able to overcome death lol geezus they pulled the "it's anime" card o us pretty dang hard. Very enjoyable however how Kirito manages to pull through at the end of SAO is beyond comprehension is beyond unbelievable. The emotions shown are quite realistic and vivid without being fabricated with anime nonsense. Episode 15- episode 23 although quite slow incomparsion to the fast paced action in the begging brings a sense of reality to a fantasy anime lol. Episode 15 and beyond is for people that are quite emotional focuses less on the action and focuses more on the emotional aspect of life rather than just thinking of it as a you die you die in real life. sooo When i was watching it woooooooah holy crap is the story plot getting great here trapped in a vr game? lol well thats close to reality atm intttteresting but ayyy not spoiling but around episode 15 if you enjoyed the first 15 episodes and came for actions stop watch season 2 after episode 15. First Starterrssss everyone arounnd me commented that SAO is a garbage anime butt heyyy gotta keep an open mind.
